A Haversack left at the Vanguard's Hall door.

The small haversack is described as follows:

A small leather bag well worn with use measuring two hand spans across and two high. It has a single flap held down by a plain brass button, It seems to have something inside of it. If picked up the bag and its contents would weigh less than an empty bottle and less than a trap. The bag smells as if it had once contained vials of explosive dust and volcanic ash. There are two places on the back of the haversack for daggers to be concealed (but there are none there now).

"Don't touch that Chaplain! It smells as though it might be explosive. Let me get a spare breastplate"

Placing the breastplate over the bag, Octar slides the sharp point of his longsword under the flap. A deft flick severs it, spilling the contents onto the Aborek road.

The contents of the haversack tumble onto the dusty road. A small cylindrical tube with a sheaf of vellum rolled inside it, a few used explosive dust vials and small dagger with the initials "VK" carved in the handle are all at your feel..

Two of you have hunted with me a small bit and know my skills. If you wish my services to be requested you know where to find me. And if you wish to "hire" me on in a "Official" role within your Maralian Vanguard I will be more than happy to lend my dagger to your cause. I can now spot six weaknesses on each foe before striking with a backstab as well as moving undetected for eight paces. I can pick locks with up to four tumblers, sadly my disarming skills are lacking. Those are my skills as of now, I hope they increase as the fighting moon rages on!
